My name is Francine Henderson. I am a full time
artist and oil painting instructor. My adventure into
the world of art started about 40 years ago. In the
early years there were a few art lessons but mostly
trial and error learning. As the years went on I
attended many seminars and workshops given by
many fantastic artists. During those years I have
received four oil painting certifications and one
acrylic painting certification.
For the past few years I have had the privilege of
studying with Master seascape artist Joyce Ortner.
One of my certifications is in Joyce's seascape
method.
I love the sea with all of its many moods and
colors. Many of my seascape paintings are based
on Joyce’s original designs.
Flowers are another of my favorite things to paint.
The colors, the softness of the petals and all the
wonderful shapes make floral painting very
exciting. My floral paintings are greatly influenced
by the wonderful works of Gary Jenkins and
Annette Kowalski.

All of my paintings are hand painted oil on canvas. As an artist I continue to grow and
evolve. I love being a teacher of art as well as a student of art.
I hope you stop by often to see the new paintings I will be adding to my galleries.
I am currently a member of the following organizations:
-Creative Artists Guild
-Oldsmar Art Club
-Society of Decorative Painters
